Supervising and organising construction work on houses:

While the location of a house is often it's most crucial feature, many new owners will wish to carry out works of improvement or enlargement.   This can cause problems for owners unfamiliar with the availability of local builders and who may be unable to undertake frequent visits to the house during works.

Even before signing the preliminary contract we can evaluate, in accordance with you, the potential and possibilities of a place. When the result of this evaluation meets with your expectations a building contractor may be invited to give a first gross estimate of the cost involved. If the services of an architect are needed he or she will give a quote on design cost before starting work.

This will give you the assurance of the financial scope of your proposals before committing yourself to the property.

In addition MidiEstates offer against a (fixed)fee to supervise the construction work on your new house. This means that we will

•  Represent you with the builders. We translate your comments and wishes to them. We check that the work is done according to the plans you agreed on.

•  We visit the site regularly, scheduled and unscheduled. We keep in close touch with the contractor and inform you of any problems that may occur.

•  We will send you photos of the progress that is being made.

•  Even if you purchase your house through an other agency all of our services are available to you. For a reasonable fee we can help and guide you through the whole process of acquiring your dream house and settling in our beautiful region.
